However, in the vast majority of situations, once they understand the capabilities of the technology, use cases expand rapidly. When speaking with vendors, understand their level of expertise on hardware and infrastructure, and ask tough questions about scalability to accommodate new applications.
- Don’t be afraid to explore uncharted territory – Retail is actively pioneering new ways to use technology to increase speed, efficiency and optimize the customer experience. If you have a new idea about how to leverage emerging technology, follow your vision. Collaborate with experienced vendors and solutions teams to assess the viability of your vision and don’t be afraid to pioneer new solutions.
