How Telaid's Culture of Trust and Accountability Fuels Results

Culture-Blog-Photo-Resized (1)Things are moving at lightspeed in 2024. It’s a lot to keep pace with technology innovations, new providers and expanding business applications. And that’s just keeping up with the industry! At the same time, technology deployments are heating up as retailers, QSRs and logistics providers prioritize technology adoption to thrive in an ever-changing environment that includes demanding consumers, elevated security and safety threats, complex supply chains and reverse logistics.

In times like these, I’m thankful to work with the incredible individuals that make up Team Telaid! These are smart, outstanding professionals who are completely dedicated to our customers and co-workers. They are the reason Telaid is a great place to work and what keeps our customers coming back.

As we continue to grow here at Telaid, we are committed to creating an outstanding culture characterized by trust and accountability. Since Tom Patsiga founded the business back in 1981, we have followed the mantra of “we take care of our employees so they can take care of our customers.” The senior leadership team will continue to invest in, trust and take care of our employees. Here are some ways we will continue to create a great culture of accountability at Telaid.

  • We trust our employees – Because we hire the best and brightest, we know we can trust our employees. We give them the authority to make the best decisions to take care of our customers in the moment. In turn, our employees hold themselves accountable to the highest standards and go above and beyond expectations, which builds customers’ trust in Telaid.
  • Offer career advancement – Whether it’s education, training or opportunities for career advancement, we support Team Telaid members in their career growth. We want great employees to remain at Telaid and to share their deep industry experience with coworkers and customers.
  • Be nice to work with – Business is business, but it should be a pleasure. We want our employees to be just as happy as our customers, so we are committed to being nice people to work with. We do the right thing, we admit fault when we mess up, and we express gratitude for all our team members do.
  • Conduct 360O reviews – Our senior leadership team wants to be as good as it can be! I know I have room for improvement, so I welcome feedback from the team on ways we can be better leaders. That’s why we conduct 360O reviews – because the senior leadership team respects our coworkers and values their feedback.

In just the first quarter of 2024, I’ve seen field technicians, operations teams, engineering, project managers and so many others go above and beyond to ensure projects are handled on time and on budget. Fueled by a culture of accountability and trust, we plan to stand beside our customers as we encounter new challenges and milestones ahead. I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2024 holds.
